The Langley School District Foundation is holding their 8th Grand Prix Gala on Sunday, June 2, 2013. This is a very popular event held at Thunderbird Show Park in Langley during a grand prix horse jumping competition. Tickets are just $60 or $400 for a table of 8 and include gourmet hors d'oeuvres, award winning wines, delicious desserts, contests and a silent auction. This summer, the Township of Langley will have the honour of hosting the 2013 Special Olympics BC Summer Games. Volunteers are needed to play a vital role in staging this inspiring event and supporting the more than 1,100 athletes who will go for gold in 11 sports.
