Gator's DenMay 31,2012The Walnut Grove Business Association has created an event which involves students, local businesses and the spirit of entrepreneurship.
Five local banking institutions agreed to contribute prize money and judge the event.
There will be three bursaries awarded: $600, $400, and $250.
The WGSS Entrepreneur students are having a trade show on May 31st which will be capped off by a competition between 6 finalist chosen from those in the tradeshow. Before the event the five judges will review student business plans and observe their trade show display to help with their selection.
Each student will have 10 minutes to make a pitch and answer questions from the judges, who will award the three prizes. Students also get to make valuable connections with local banking executives.

WGBA Director Ron Knight and Business Teacher, Bruce Young have been a great catalyst for this event.
