Thank you to all the volunteers that came out for the 2nd annual Walnut Grove Clean-Up day. And a big thank you to Buy Low, McDonald's, Norlang Auto and the Township for donating coffee & muffins, supplies for our barbeque lunch, and the tools we needed to clean up the streets of Walnut Grove.

Family Day Festival

Our Association is planning a big event on Saturday, June 23rd
in cooperation with Sunrise Rotary at the Walnut Grove
Senior Secondary Field & Track area.
We are creating an annual Walnut Grove Family Day Festival that will be supported by and will showcase local Walnut Grove businesses. An important component is fundraising for children in need in our area, with proceeds being donated to the Langley School District Foundation to support things like hot lunch programs. We have a unique opportunity to partner with local schools to promote our event. As a WGBA member we are offering sponsorship and promotion opportunities to you first. Please see our attached list for details about how to become involved. While promoting Family Fun, we will be creating activities, promotions, and marketing pieces that will encourage local residents to get out and discover Walnut Grove businesses. You can join our group and help make this endeavor a big success!

If you have goods and services to donate in-kind please contact Lara Holtby langleypaint@gmail.com

Deadline for sponsorship applications is April 27 - we already have many business interested in the high profile advertising pieces. The event will be promoted on JR FM and in flyers to 5000 elementary school students, so businesses will gets lots of exposure.
